    • follow artists, so that you can be notified the next time they are in town

• My band's show isn't listed, how can I get it added? (top)
  • We get our show data from a variety of sources to ensure that no show is missed. However, omissions are possible. Please contact us and let us know and we will add it.


• My venue isn't listed, how can I get it added? (top)
  • Please contact us and provide all the pertinent details about your venue and we will add it.


• Are you open to partnership opportunities? (top)
  • Absolutely! Please contact us and let us know what you are thinking and we will get back with you.


• The show times seem out of whack, what gives? (top)
  • We get our show data from a variety of sources. Unfortunately, the show times might be formatted for a different timezone. You should always visit the venue's website directly to verify the correct showtime.


• On the show page, what is the difference between Player View and List View? (top)
  • Player View (default) presents all the comments, pictures and videos on a video screen. Users can press the play button and have all the comments, pictures and videos "played" for them automatically. Or, they can manually view the comments, pictures and videos by clicking or scrolling on the timeline..
  • List View presents the comments, pictures and videos in a more conventional list form. The list is ordered with the most recent comments at the top. When viewing a show within 24 hours of it's start or 24 hours after it's start, the users will have the ability to have the list view auto refresh.


• What does "following" an artist do on the artist page? (top)
  • When you follow an artist, the system will notify you when that artist has an upcoming show. New notifications will pop up upon visiting Chicagoer.com. Previously viewed notifications can be viewed by visiting the notifications page.


• Why does the auto-refresh icon appear on some show pages and not others? (top)
  • The auto-refresh icon is displayed on the show "List View" page when a show is within 24 hours before or 24 hours after a show time. The primary value of auto-refreshing is during the actual show so that you can see the comments, pictures and videos as they happen.


• Why can't I comment on a show? (top)
  • Shows that are older than 30 days from their start date are not able to be commented upon.
